SERVICEOFFERINGS
We offer four distinct service lines to meet the diverse needs for education clients of all sizes. The service lines are designed to target areas where a district may be experiencing extreme pain or calls for dramatic transformation or simply to accomplish a critical project that needs tightly focused support to meet objectives.
Comprised of four distinct areas that can be done individually or as an integrated whole. This offering is designed for superintendents, and Boards, regardless of size or location. Through this service line, school leadership and others will now have a credible roadmap designed to align and communicate the value and direction to all stakeholders that want to improve education achievement dramatically. Educator’s benefit by having a compelling story to attract business investment, new partnerships with university programs and community leaders. Core deliverables include:
Strategic Plan in a Box (SPiB): The Strategic Plan is the single most critical document to access new funding opportunities and for enhanced credibility with state and federal officials. The strategic plan also serves as a galvanizing tool for internal staff, community members, and businesses and to support new recruitment efforts of high quality teaching staff and administrators. Our process is designed to deliver a finalized Strategic Plan of the highest quality in 90-120 days for LEAs, depending on the size of the district and political environment. The common timeline to develop a strategic plan is often 12-18 months; it is our belief that a chronically, low-performing district or individual school does not have 18 months to develop a plan. Key question to ask of your organization: Do you have a vision that galvanizes the thinking that engages people and invites full cooperation and collaboration?
Strategic Education Matrix (SEM): The SEM is designed to assist education leaders with higher quality decision-making to shape priorities for what is relevant for today while thinking about what will drive meaningful impact for tomorrow. Many educators tend to focus on what is the important item of the day or what new vendor offering is available; yet, developing the SEM offers a guide to ensure LEAs are doing the right thing, with the right people, at the right time that produces relevant value. Key question to ask of your organization: Do your stakeholders know and are all in agreement of the most effective way to improve academic performance?
Strategic Education Architecture (SEA): The SEA is a comprehensive and detailed roadmap that helps to determine what your organization can and cannot accomplish and why in a meaningful and comprehensive way. The SEA is a powerful method for turnaround planning that will ensure clarity and understanding to drive solid execution. Key question to ask of your organization: Is there clarity and understanding by all stakeholder groups, at all levels how decisions are made, and how strategies will be designed, implemented, monitored and reported?
Strategic Execution Plan (SEP): The SEP is an action and results driven (not activity-driven) plan to capture the nuances and important interrelationships to achieve strategic priorities that communicates clearly who is responsible, risks and ways to mitigate (aligned with the Strategic Plan). This is the plan that specifies how the strategic plan will be accomplished or broader initiatives. Key question to ask your organization: Does your team understand their role, what they should do, how to do it, the sequence of events, and how objectives will be evaluated? We facilitate the process to build internal capacity to create scale inside the organization.

The Operations Turnaround (OT) is a focused, “over-time” effort to address your critical areas of need as outlined in the in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce of Leaders and Laggards, State-by-State Report Card on Educational Effectiveness. We determine the relevant resources and knowledge experts to creatively and efficiently address the failing areas of performance, which are:
- School Management
- Finance
- Staffing: Hiring & Evaluation
- Staffing: Removing Ineffective Teachers
- Data
- Pipeline to Postsecondary
- Technology
- State Reform Environment

These are 100-Day or less projects where success is the only outcome. Diverse stakeholders are involved from inception to completion to achieve rapid results in 100 days or less in this highly structured approach to problem solving. Clients determine what is the most meaningful result they want to achieve and we lead the process to achieve the desired outcome. Rapid Results is a results-focused learning process aimed at jump-starting major change efforts and enhancing implementation capacity.
In massive change efforts to transform or turnaround chronically low-performing schools, there is a critical and often overlooked need to manage the many moving parts. This often includes external consultants, vendors, state support staff, internal administrators, external community members, teachers along with the vast amount of external communication. We offer solid project management expertise and program support to plan, guide and oversee broad performance of the turnaround strategy selected, from intiation to the first day of school or program roll-out.
