Benny Lasiter
Benny Lasiter is our data maestro who understands how to manage data, and present in graphically powerful ways that influence decision-making. After teaching courses at the University of Arkansas while working on his Master's degree, Benny spent a number of years working in Information Technology in the petroleum industry. In addition to his primary responsibilities as a programmer and analyst, he prepared and taught several technical courses and was selected to evaluate and implement new computer technologies as a part of a special initiatives team. Benny has spent the past 6 years working in the financial industry where his efforts to consolidate information for strategic reporting were recognized with an award for innovation at a national technology conference in 2008. Throughout his career, he has been invited to speak and make presentations at various conferences and, in 2009, he was interviewed as a Subject Matter Expert for two articles in Computerworld Magazine.

| Personal Stuff: | Married to my high school sweetheart, Anita, and the proud father of a daughter who will begin attending Texas A&M University next fall. I grew up in rural southeast Arkansas on my grandfather's farm and will always have a great appreciation for nature. An avid photographer, I enjoy combining that hobby with a love of travel whenever possible (Favorite photo adventure so far: Driving up the Maine coast and hiking Acadia National Park). My family shares a love of cooking and some of our best times together are spent in the kitchen. |
